Children’s Mental Health Week 2022 - Growth Stories available now

Children’s Mental Health Week 2022 - Growth Stories available now

In exclusive interviews with presenter and Place2Be Ambassador Josh Smith, familiar faces from the world of TV, music and sport share their stories of emotional growth.

To tie into this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week theme of ‘Growing Together’, we’ve asked some famous faces to share their 'Growth Stories’ with us.

Hosted by presenter, podcaster and Place2Be Ambassador Josh Smith, this series includes conversations with:

  • Dr Alex George, presenter, author and UK Youth Mental Health Ambassador
  • YolanDa Brown, saxophonist, composer, broadcaster and Place2Be Champion
  • Jacob Anderson, actor, singer, songwriter and Place2Be Champion
  • Mandip Gill, actor
  • Andy Lewis MBE, Paralympic gold medallist, and Place2Be Champion

We also have an exclusive written Q&A with Team GB’s youngest Olympic medallist, skateboarder Sky Brown.

These stories can be used in class, or at home with your child, to help start a conversation about growth and the different challenges we may face. Each Growth Story is accompanied by some suggested discussion points.
