With your help, we can provide expert mental health support when children and young people need it most.

1 in 5 children and young people have a probable mental health condition, and many continue to have these problems into adulthood.

When children and young people are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing, they need expert support.

Our dedicated Place2Be mental health professionals become an integral part of the school, working closely with pupils, families, and staff.

Will you help provide that support by making a donation today?

Specialist support can help

Children and young people struggling with their emotional wellbeing can also struggle to find the words to explain how they’re feeling. Specialist support can help make sure they’re heard.

A safe space

Place2Be counsellors work on building trust and bonding through drawing, artwork, and games. This helps children and young people gradually feel safe sharing their thoughts and feelings and getting the support they urgently need.

One-to-one support

Trained counsellors tailor sessions according to each child’s needs in an age-appropriate way. For younger children, our therapeutic approach encourages them to express themselves in non-verbal ways, for example, through artwork or play.
